Play Time!

It's that time of the year when the future managers drop their books and don the greasepaint. After a successful revival of their annual public production series with Ayn Rand's 'The night of January 16th', the students of XLRI are back with 'Silence, the court is in session'. Produced by the Dramatics and Cultural Association at XLRI ( DRACULA) the play features senior and junior students of XLRI in Tendulkar's Marathi play translated into English.

The play will be staged at the Tata Auditorium in Jamshedpur at 7 pm on the 10th Feb 2007.
For tickets and passes mail sandhya.krishnan@astra.xlri.ac.in

GASP - the Guild of Actors at SP - is SPJIMR's theater group that puts together a play around January each year.

Last year GASP had performed Vijay Tendulkar's "Kamla". Looks like his plays are a big hit with the b-schools :)

I am so glad to see that you are doing this play. XLers did this in 1984 (incl me) and the play ran to packed shows in he Tata Audi. For some useful tips you could if you wish contact Mooci Mustapha at Ma Foi. You will nt regret it.
